Stratum V2 (Sv2) is the next-generation, open standard protocol for Bitcoin mining — making mining operations more efficient, profitable, secure, private and decentralized.
This organization maintains the Stratum V2 Reference Implementation (SRI): a free and open-source suite of protocol libraries, applications, language bindings and documentation that lets you build pools, proxies, firmware, monitoring software and more on top of Sv2.
Learn more about the protocol and how to start mining with Sv2 at stratumprotocol.org.
Everything you need to adopt, run or build on Stratum V2:
- sv2-spec - The Stratum V2 Specification: start here if you want to understand the protocol
- stratum - Stratum V2 protocol libraries written in Rust: the building blocks for integrating Sv2 into your own software
- sv2-apps - Ready-to-run Stratum V2 applications: Pool, Job Declarator Client/Server, Translator Proxy and Mining Device, built on the
stratumlibraries - sv2-ui - A UI for Stratum V2 applications: monitor your mining fleet, solo mine with your node or via a pool — works with existing Sv1 firmware
- sv2-uniffi - UniFFI language bindings to the Stratum V2 Reference Implementation, for using SRI from other languages
- stratumprotocol.org - Our website and open source documentation
Stratum V2 is developed as a public good by an independent, community-governed Working Group — anyone can join and contribute to the open mining standard.
