This is a tentative attempt to be able to set a custom session rather than just the fetched latest session.
There's still the need to have technique and template selection work based on the selected session, but it turned out to be more work than I initially expected to do that, so I'll do it in a separate PR. For this PR, the selected session only affects the jobs table.
