Cannot create new document due to extension error

Steps to reproduce

1. click +
2. Create new document
3. Error "extension cannot be changed" before doing anything
4. try different extensions, fails as well

Expected behaviour

• allow default extension
• do let user change extension, if it not allow

Actual behaviour

no way to create file

I'm not OP, but I'm facing the same issue. The QA apk did not solve the problem. The error message is gone, but regardless of what i type as the filename, I can't press Create. It's greyed out. I tried test.xlsx and test.ods. Neither allowed me to press create.

@Essjayess How long did you wait? I mean it should be fast yes but can you check like: "wait 2 mins" still greyed out or not? Also generally your instance is fast or slow when you use from web?

@alperozturk96 I've done several more tests. To answer your question, my nextcloud performs well, is not slow on web.

Test 1: Created a new Spreadsheet, waited 2+ minutes. Create button never changed, greyed out
Test 2: Created a new Document, waited 2+ minutes. Create button never changed, greyed out
Test 3: Created a new Presentation, waited 2+ minutes. Create button never changed, greyed out
Test 4: Created a new Text Document, works fine. Create button is not greyed out.
Test 5: Created a new Whiteboard, works fine. Create button is not greyed out.
Test 6: Created a new Spreadsheet on Web, it opens fine on Android. I can rename it and the "rename" button is not greyed out.

edit: these tests were done using the QA app you posted earlier.
