@ionic/cli MacOS Install Error

Description:

When running "npm install -g @ionic/cli" in MacOS terminal, I get this message:

npm warn deprecated inflight@1.0.6: This module is not supported, and leaks memory. Do not use it. Check out lru-cache if you want a good and tested way to coalesce async requests by a key value, which is much more comprehensive and powerful.

When I run "cd cli" I get:
cd: no such file or directory: cli

node.js: v24.4.1
npm: v11.6.0
MacOS Sequoia 15.6.1

You are installing the ionic cli and all you got are warnings (there is no errors listed by you).
The installation does not create a "cli" directory but it makes the ionic command available in your terminal.
