Sorting symbols by name

Hi, I am not sure what it is caused by but in many projects binary ninja loses the ability to sort the symbol list by name. The small arrow which indicates the sorting order disappears and nothing happens if you click on the name title bar.

Here everything is okay and clicking on "name" sorts the symbol list.

Here the tiny arrow is gone and nothing happens if I click on "name".

Does anybody know why this happens and how to sort the symbol list?
